European Heritage Days at the Royal Palace of Caserta

"Architecture: the art of building": this is the theme of the European Days of Heritage (Gep) scheduled for Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th September at the Royal Palace of Caserta. This year's theme of the European Heritage Days seems to have been created specifically for the Complex Vanvitellian, being an Italian declension of the subject European "Heritage and Architecture: Windows to the Past, Doors to the Future". The initiative is an invitation to explore the rich and varied architectural landscape that surrounds us, on the occasion of the 50th years since the European Year of Architectural Heritage in 1975 which inspired, among other things, the official logo of the European Heritage Days. In the two days dedicated to the multiplicity of typologies and functions of the Italian cultural heritage, the Royal Palace of Caserta surprises the public with a varied program: visits special events completely new to the shipyards, the presentation of the Proceedings of the conference "The Construction Site of Construction Sites", the inauguration of the first Hall of the Queen's Apartment, a concert, an extraordinary evening opening and an exclusive meeting at Le Graefer Greenhouses.
