Salvini, the Court of Auditors' approval of the Ponte bridge is expected, but it's August 15th.

We expect it in a month, but nothing is ever taken for granted.
To begin construction on the Messina Strait bridge , "it seems to me that all that's needed is registration by the Court of Auditors . It's August. It's clear that it's mid-August for everyone in Italy, so there's no set deadline for when they have to return the deed." This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport, Matteo Salvini , speaking on RTL 102.5 radio. "It's assumed it could arrive within a month," so "they're expecting to start the project between September and October," Salvini added.
Asked if he's confident of the Court's approval, the Deputy Prime Minister replies that "nothing can ever be taken for granted." "It's been two and a half years of careful, day-to-day living," he adds, and "there's the issue of mafia infiltration, against which we will raise the most rigid barriers in the world."
