Lynch named in Cavan squad as Galligan makes three changes for Castlebar trip

Cavan manager Raymond Galligan has made three changes to his team for Sunday’s All-Ireland SFC group stage opener against Mayo in Castlebar.
Ballyhaise youngster Evan Crowe comes into the Breffni men’s starting line-up at centre-field, while Cormac O’Reilly (Mullahoran) and Ryan Donohoe (Gowna) are also drafted into the team from the Ulster quarter-final loss to Tyrone last month.
Gearoid McKiernan misses out in the trip west through injury while Barry Donnelly and Sean McEvoy drop to the bench.
Meanwhile, Paddy Lynch is named at number 26 in the matchday squad and could potentially make his first appearance for the Blues in 2025 after having spent the best part of a year on the sidelines due to injury.
