Dunmore MacHales got off to a perfect start in the 2025 Galway senior football championship race last night by inflicting Annaghdown with a 3-19 to 0-16 defeat at Tuam Stadium.

Having built up a commanding 0-15 to 0-6 lead by the end of the first-half, Dunmore struck three second-half goals to kill off the challenge Annaghdown who were without ace attacker Damien Comer on this occasion.
