Vuelta 2025: It's on! Vingegaard highly anticipated, the first stage

The 2025 Vuelta officially begins this Saturday, August 23, with three weeks of racing that could allow Jonas Vingegaard to win his third career Grand Tour after his two Tours de France. The first stage, in Italy, admittedly a long way from Spain, will start in Turin and reach Novara over 186 kilometers. The stage promises to be flat, and sprinters will be expected on this first day of racing.
