Ukraine-France: What time and on which TV channel can you watch the 2026 World Cup qualifying match?

Les Bleus begin their qualification journey for the next World Cup this Friday, September 5th, against Ukraine with their first day match.
By Romain DaveauIt's back-to-school time for the Blues! Didier Deschamps ' team returns to the joys of competition this Friday: they face Ukraine in Wroclaw (Poland), in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, a few days before hosting Iceland at the Parc des Princes (September 9).
As runners-up to the World Cup, the French team obviously can't afford to fail and must secure their spot. In a group that also includes Azerbaijan, it's easily achievable. Les Bleus haven't missed a World Cup or Euro since 1994.
As a reminder, all group winners qualify for the World Cup. The 12 second-placed nations will play a play-off with the Nations League group winners who did not finish in the top two places in their World Cup qualifying group.
The Ukraine-France match is scheduled to kick off at 8:45 p.m. this Friday, September 5. The match will be broadcast live on TF1 and with live commentary on leparisien.fr
