The first edition of the Sports Festival will be held on September 14. Florian Hulleu
One year after the Paris 2024 Games, the first edition of the Fête du Sport, as sponsored by Emmanuel Macron, is being held across the country this Sunday, September 14. But in the face of budget cuts in the sports sector, some cities have chosen to skip the event.

Residents walking along Rue de Rivoli in Paris this Sunday, September 14, will undoubtedly see memories of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games resurface. Renamed "Boulevard du Sport" for the occasion, the street will host the celebrations of the first edition of the Fête du Sport, a sporting event called for and established the day after the Paris Olympics by President Emmanuel Macron.
