Sporting Club Draguignan challenges the leader at home this Sunday

Just a little news this weekend for the colors of Sporting Club Draguignan. We'll obviously be keeping a close eye on the performances of the sub-prefectural club's senior teams. And especially the first eleven, which will host, Sunday at 3 p.m., at Raoul-Brulat - finally a return to its roots - its counterpart Hyères Football Club, leader of the group in the general classification. A gala match on paper for the representatives of the City of the Dragon who, by losing recently to Brignoles, have lost all their chances of claiming promotion to the next level. Alain Calarco's protégés will nevertheless be keen to take down their counterparts from the City of Palms. Just to end their journey on a high note.

Elsewhere, the reserve team (Departmental 2) will host the Fréjus-Saint-Raphaël team tomorrow at 12 p.m., but in Michelage (Flayosc). Already beaten in the first leg (2-1), the "black and white" will most certainly once again have a tough task against an opponent who is intrinsically superior based on the overall standings. Now, over one match and 90 minutes, anything remains possible.

We will also have a keen eye on the performance of the senior women's team (11-a-side football) who will travel tomorrow at 3 p.m. to Hyères (to the Gaby Robert stadium) with justified ambitions.

Youth Corner

Many youth teams will be in action this weekend. Our main focus will be on the U13 girls, who will be competing in the regional Pitch final for their age group throughout the weekend in Cagnes-sur-Mer.

Of course, we'll also be keeping an eye on the U19s (D1), who will be out this afternoon at 5 p.m. in Fayence. The U17s (D1) will host their neighbors from Le Muy at 5:30 p.m. at Louis-Gilly. The U16s (D1) will travel tomorrow at 1 p.m. (Gaby-Robert Stadium) to Hyères. The U15s (D1) and U14s (D2) will be playing at home. The former will host La Valette tomorrow at 10 a.m. at Louis-Gilly. The latter will host Fréjus-Saint-Raphaël this Saturday at 1 p.m. at the same venue.

Finally, still among the youth team but on the women's side, know that the U18s will host Hyères tomorrow at 1 p.m. in Gilly, and that the U15s will welcome Aubagne this afternoon at 4 p.m. in Brulat.
