To greet us, Piche blows us a distant kiss. A politeness that essentially says: please, don't touch this flawlessly contoured and highlighted face, the preparation of which takes longer than a Prime Minister's speech. Don't imitate the torrential rain that fell on her on July 26, 2024, during the opening ceremony of the Games . Her role was simple: to wiggle for thirty seconds on a red carpet during the "Festivity" scene, to the sound of Freed From Desire. But with the deluge, her eyebrows popped out, her false eyelashes flew off, her contact lenses burned her. "I was losing three points of acuity in each eye," recalls the drag and drama queen, forced to throw away her artifice when the camera arrived.
