Monaco is now just one step away from the most coveted title in European basketball. Victorious against Evan Fournier's Olympiakos (78-68) , the Roca Team will challenge Fenerbahçe, who defeated defending champion Panathinaikos (82-76), in the Euroleague final. The Monegasque club has the opportunity to become the second French basketball team to have its name on the European Cup list after CSP Limoges in 1993 .

Opposite, the Turkish club is a regular at the event with three consecutive participations in a final between 2016 and 2018, including one won against Olympiakos in 2017.
