Announced as very uncertain in our edition today , Folarin Balogun, scorer last week during the victory of the Monegasques in Saint-Etienne, is indeed absent from the group to face Lyon.

The American striker's ankle twisted yesterday during training. Breel Embolo is expected to start up front alongside his team's top scorer, Mika Biereth (13 goals in Ligue 1).

Bouabré in the group

To replace Balogun numerically, coach Adi Hütter preferred to retain the young Saimon Bouabré (18 years old), a starter in Nantes on the 17th day of the championship, rather than Lucas Michal (10 appearances this season).

A Monegasque group which can, however, count on the return of Tilo Kehrer, recovered from his knee injury, and that of Lamine Camara, who has served his suspension.
