Cycling, French Championships: A double for Thaïs Poirier

After winning the time trial, the Périgourdine, registered in Marmande, was crowned road racer this Sunday.
She's simply a phenomenon! Thaïs Poirier (playing for Nouvelle-Aquitaine) won the French U19 Women's Championship this Sunday in La Tour-du-Pin (Isère). She beat Lise Revol (Grand Est) and her teammate Lilou Jauvin.
She also achieved a historic double. After winning the time trial, Thaïs Poirier will now be able to don the French jersey and sing the Marseillaise on the road. This wasn't necessarily a goal. After the time trial, the Périgourdine wanted to do her best. She simply crushed the competition and raised her arms once again.
