Cycling challenge starting from Grimaud: They want to cycle as far as possible to give Julius the Pirate as many smiles as possible

As part of a charity project in support of young Grimaudois Jules Carpentier-Faniard, two key players in the Saint-Tropez economy, Romain Kwiatkowski and Antony Tardieu, set off from Grimaud on Wednesday, May 7, heading for Toulon.
Rare neurological syndromeFrom there, they will board a ferry to Corsica, with a clear goal: to cover a number of kilometers equivalent to the amount collected in the "heart pot" open in advance until Monday, May 5. The fuller the pot, the further they will go! A journey across the beautiful island in a North-South route, from Bastia to Cap Corse, passing through Saint-Florent, Bonifaccio, and Ajaccio.
To give Julius the Pirate as many smiles as possible.
Suffering from Leigh syndrome, a rare neurological disorder, Jules impresses with his vitality and his desire to live life to the fullest. Very active on social media, particularly on his Instagram account: @juliuslepirate, he is followed by a loyal community who share his adventures: his outings, his artistic creations, his cultural favorites, his cooking recipes, and his projects.
Prize pool open until Monday"Thanks to the friendship formed last summer between our children at the Grimaldines festival, we met Jules. Touched by his energy and his dreams, we wanted to cycle to allow him to practice adapted sports activities, like paddle boarding, which he loves so much. In collaboration with the Lions Club Saint-Tropez Sainte-Maxime Doyen, we launched a kitty open until Monday, May 5, and a solidarity challenge: to travel the greatest possible distance by bike, based on the principle that each tranche of 30 euros collected from the Leetchi kitty will represent one kilometer traveled," say the two friends.
Supported by numerous partners, including the Monegasque company Stajvelo and MadCap, a platform dedicated to real-time monitoring of cycling races, Romain and Antony encourage the public to follow them live and why not join them on the course to share a few kilometers together!
