Breel Embolo, Mohammed Salisu, Krépin Diatta...: several players expected to leave AS Monaco are not traveling to Lille

It was to be expected that the same names would be left out. With a squad of around thirty players at the start of the season, Adi Hütter had to make some choices to define the Monaco squad that would travel to Lille.
As was the case on Matchday 1 against Le Havre, Breel Embolo, Mohammed Salisu, and Krépin Diatta have been left in the Principality, according to our information. Announced as leaving, the three players will therefore not take part in the match on Matchday 2 of Ligue 1, scheduled for this Sunday evening in the North (8:45 p.m.). Suspended on Matchday 1, Soungoutou Magassa was available but was also not selected.
Finally, youngsters Paris Brunner and Lucas Michal are not making the trip. The former is paying for the return of Folarin Balogun while the latter was already absent against Le Havre and is still hoping to find a home and playing time.
The official squad was released by AS Monaco around 7pm this Saturday, confirming the above.
