A legends match will be held on Tuesday at La Beaujoire

Gala match on Tuesday evening at La Beaujoire (kick-off at 8 p.m., broadcast at 9:15 p.m. on L'Équipe channel). A team of FC Nantes legends will challenge the Variétés Club de France in a charity match in association with Secours Populaire and the FCN endowment fund.
On the Canaries side, we will notably find figures from the finest generations, with among the oldest and most successful, Loïc Amisse and Maxime Bossis. The latter is even announced as a starter even though he will soon celebrate his 70th birthday (on June 26). International figures will also be in the game (Karembeu, Makelele, Desailly), winners of the 95 title (Loko in the lead) and the last one, in 2001 (Da Rocha, Carrière). Mickaël Landreau, however, is not announced.
On the Variety side, general manager Jacques Vendroux will be able to admire the statue of his old friend and FCN icon, Henri Michel, upon his arrival at the stadium. The "visiting" team will include Robert Pirès, Yoann Gourcuff, and Alain Giresse. Artists like Paul Mirabel and athletes like Ciryl Gane will also be there, and there will be a strong attacking force, with Teddy Riner.
While FC Nantes currently lacks a coach following Antoine Kombouaré's departure, they will have no shortage of fallback options this Tuesday evening, as several coaches have also been announced, including Jean-Claude Suaudeau, Vahid Halilhodzic, Laurent Guyot, and Kombouaré. Around 18,000 people are expected to attend. A rather pleasant spectacle in prospect, one that won't displease the yellow and green fans, who are coming off a year in which they haven't been very spoiled yet.
