This Saturday, August 23, several elected officials from the City of Wissembourg and members of the Via Democratia Europa association will meet at 2 p.m. in front of the memorial to the student demonstration of August 6, 1950, which led to the abolition of the Weiler and St. Germanshof border crossing, to unveil a commemorative plaque in memory of the event.
