Emmanuel Macron's popularity remains stable at a low level, with 28% of French people trusting him. "This is the first time in the history of our barometer, founded in 2003, that a prime minister is less popular than the president of the Republic," Frédéric Dabi, director general of Ifop's opinion poll, told Ouest-France .
Not close enough to daily concernsFrançois Bayrou's strong point is his "openness to dialogue," praised by 40% of French people. But only 23% of them consider the head of government to be close to everyday concerns.
46% of those surveyed trust Emmanuel Macron to defend France's interests abroad , an increase of four points compared to last month.
81% of French people consider the President of the Republic to be removed from daily concerns.
Online survey conducted among a sample of 1,500 people representative of the population aged 18 and over. The margin of error is between 1.1 and 2.5 points.
