Gier Valley. The Roman aqueduct of the Gier marked along its route and soon to be restored in Langonand

The piers of the Roman aqueduct located on Route de Langonand will undergo restoration work. New signage will reinforce this heritage enhancement initiative.
The marking of the Gier Roman aqueduct trail, linking Saint-Chamond to Lyon, is now complete. From the Chemin de l'Hermitage, a sign marks the starting point of a route that allows you to closely follow the route that crosses several towns in the Gier basin.
