Alexis Corbière, Green Party MP for Seine-Saint-Denis, was a guest on "Les 4 Vérités" on Thursday, May 15, the day after François Bayrou's hearing in the Bétharram affair.

François Bayrou was questioned on the Bétharram affair by a parliamentary committee on Wednesday, May 14. He gave a long explanation of what he knew at the time of the events. Alexis Corbière, Green Party MP for Seine-Saint-Denis, a guest on the 4 V program on Thursday, May 15, believes that the Prime Minister was "not convincing" and "not credible." "Yesterday's entire committee demonstrated that he could not have been unaware of what had happened," he added.

In total, 200 complaints were filed for physical and sexual violence within the establishment. The events were also reported in the local press. The Prime Minister denounced the political manipulation of the left. "Yesterday it was Trumpism with a Béarnaise sauce. He arrived, he launched constant attacks," the MP elaborated. François Bayrou thus questioned the testimony of a teacher who said she had alerted him personally. "He demonstrates that all the mandates he has had have not allowed him to truly put an end to this scandal," Alexis Corbière concluded.
