Emmanuel Macron will chair the Choose France summit on May 19, as he does every year, aimed at attracting foreign companies to France. Following the election of Donald Trump and the implementation of customs tariffs, the Élysée Palace had a few cold sweats: would investors be overcome by fear? Ultimately, no.
"The record number of contracts will be broken, and there will still be around 20% of American companies in the total number of contracts," assures a source close to the president. Since 2017, more than 10,000 investment projects have been signed.
