Pouilly-en-Auxois. Pink October: more than 15,800 euros raised

On Sunday, October 26, the women's-only track day at the Auxois-Sud circuit brought the Pink October campaign to a close in the Pouilly-Bligny area. To conclude this month of mobilization against breast cancer, which was punctuated by numerous events, the Pouilly-Bligny inter-municipal council brought together all the event organizers for a thank-you ceremony.
This year, the total amount raised for the League Against Cancer, Côte-d'Or committee, is approximately €16,000. This sum, revealed by Yves Courtot, the president of the Pouilly-Bligny inter-municipal council, will help to support, among other things, breast cancer research.
The check was presented to Dominique Bucquet, president of the Côte-d'Or committee of the League Against Cancer, and Sylvie Bédert-Mollier, treasurer, who reminded everyone that "it is necessary for women aged 50 to 74 to get screened every two years."
The Val d'Ouche friendship club took the opportunity to note the usefulness of the League point located in Bligny-sur-Ouche , intended for the inhabitants of Pouilly, Bligny and Arnay: a place for exchanges with patients and their companions, a bridge between illness and daily life, an open window for self-reconstruction.
