Doubs. Wedding turns into a fiasco: guests suffer food poisoning

The Regional Health Agency (ARS), contacted by L'Est Républicain, confirmed this Friday "a report of collective food poisoning which occurred last weekend during a wedding in Rougemont (Doubs)".

As the newspaper reports, of the 150 guests at the wedding, 69 guests were victims of food poisoning. While it is impossible to say at this time whether the main course, the chouquettes, or the wedding cake was responsible for the mass death toll among the guests, the Regional Health Agency (ARS) - contacted by L'Est Républicain - confirmed this Friday "a report of a mass food poisoning that occurred last weekend at a wedding in Rougemont." A questionnaire was sent to the guests in an attempt to identify the food that clearly ruined the party.
