Weekend of road traffic jams: 500 km of traffic jams already, A10 heavily impacted

The A71, which crosses the Massif Central, is also heavily impacted, with 30 km of traffic jams, after an early morning accident that blocked traffic. In Île-de-France, Bison Futé predicts increased traffic on the A10 and A6 motorways "as well as on the roads that converge there" such as the A86 and the A6B.
Mid-morning, traffic time on the A7 between the south of Lyon and Orange (Vaucluse) was 4 hours 20 minutes instead of 1 hour 35 minutes normally, and 2 hours 45 minutes instead of 1 hour 40 minutes on the A9 between Orange and Narbonne, according to the X account of Vinci Autoroutes, which manages these routes. The Alpine tunnels are particularly congested, with 1 hour 45 minutes of waiting time at the Mont-Blanc Tunnel towards Italy and significant delays at the Fréjus Tunnel, also towards Italy, on the A43.
The difficulties of this crisscrossing, which are expected to last until Monday, had already begun on Friday, a day classified as red for departures, from Hauts-de-France to Brittany, via Normandy, Île-de-France and the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.
