Transport: the madness of grandeur at the heart of maritime freight

Is the current global trade war having an impact on maritime transport, which alone accounts for 90% of global trade in goods? A deep dive into the movement of oversized ships and the ports that have adapted and transformed.
It's still dark in the port of Antwerp (Belgium), yet the ballet of the giants of the sea continues. On a French container ship, the unloading of goods continues unabated. In a few days, the unloaded products will be available in storage. For the captain, Fabien Gruel, the activity never stops: "This is a company that works 24/7, there is no downtime. The goal is to reduce port call times as much as possible to achieve the maximum number of maritime transports," he explains.
