The government has a sense of humor all its own. In the cancellation decree published on April 26, which announced the umpteenth €3.1 billion budget cuts , we learned that the most affected program was "Transport Infrastructure and Services" (-€263 million). Barely a week later, however, the government launched "Ambition France Transports," a conference on transport financing with a 2040 horizon that is intended to be sensational. Prime Minister François Bayrou is traveling to Marseille this Monday, May 5, to outline the outlines of this major gathering that will last until the end of July.
