Pont-à-Mousson. 380,000 liters of beer per year: the Brasseurs de Lorraine bring out the local flavor

Under the mischievous gaze of the gourmet mustachioed man who serves as their logo, the Brasseurs de Lorraine have been crafting ageing beers since 2003, often award-winning, where malt and cereals dance in harmony. In their 1,500 m² Mussipontain hangar, they brew 3,800 hl per year, between 12 craft beers and a few homemade soft drinks. A varied range, from the 14-18 blonde to the Gamote beer, which embodies the Lorraine terroir.
"We have extraordinary products in our region, it's up to us to make them sublime," smiles brewer Yoann Muller. "As good Lorrainers, very chauvinistic, we have the Jeanne d'Arc, white and fresh, flavored with mirabelle plum. Perfect when it's hot." Every Friday at 5 p.m., the brewery opens to the curious, for a tour followed by a tasting, where each sip tells the story of all the richness of an authentic terroir.
