North Franche-Comté. The Écot rest area, the largest in the urban area, is ready for the crossover on the A36

Located at the entrance (or exit) to the Belfort-Montbéliard area, the Écot rest area, on the A36, is visited annually by 1.5 million travelers. The site, extensively renovated in 2022, employs 100 people to provide all services, which are expected to be used again this weekend for the traditional holidaymaker flow.
