Mother's Day and Father's Day: Who receives more gifts?

As Mother's Day (May 15) and Father's Day (June 15) approach, a study carried out by European photo printing leader Cewe reveals that mothers will be more spoiled than fathers.
The budget is similar between the two, with children spending between 75 and 80 euros on gifts from their mother and father. In some regions, such as Île-de-France, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, and Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, the budget is higher, exceeding 100 euros. But only 7 out of 10 fathers receive a gift, compared to almost 9 out of 10 for mothers.
Gifts aren't the same either. For mothers, the most popular gifts are flowers and plants (43% of cases) and jewelry (35%), according to a study conducted by Bonial . Ready-to-wear and hygiene and beauty products also come in close behind.
For fathers, the French tend to opt for clothing and accessories, such as belts and socks. Chocolates and treats, as well as experiences and personalized gifts, are also popular among the French to please their fathers.
