Marsilly: A look back in pictures at the kick-off of the third edition of the 24 Hours of La Pelle

Around forty vintage cars and ten mopeds gathered on the Place des Carrelets on Saturday morning for the kick-off of the 24 Hours of La Pelle 2025. The route of this 2025 edition offers superb scenery along the Marsilly seafront. This year, the Mobeurs de Bouhet invited themselves to the party with their magnificent vintage mopeds. This old fire engine aroused public curiosity on the Place des Carrelets in the town centre. The 4L is still very popular with the informed public. The show offered by the pin-up fairies before the start gave a touch of retro atmosphere. This crew brought what was needed for a short fishing break on occasion. For some participants of this 2025 edition, elegance was the order of the day. The second stage of the 24 Hours of La Pelle continues this Sunday until 3 p.m. at the Port de la Pelle. Once the participants have set off, they must cross the town centre, scrupulously respecting the highway code, or face penalties. Volunteers from the 24 Hours of La Pelle association have done their utmost to put together a popular event this year, which has been a regular feature of the Marsilly events calendar for three years.
