Bar-le-Duc. A tea room with the scent of Tunisia

Tunisian Delights. This is the name of the tea room that opened this week at 28 rue des Romains (opposite the Poincaré pharmacy).
It is there, in a universe created in her image, that Mariem El Khazen welcomes her clients. Tunisian, living in Bar-le-Duc for two years, Mariem El Khazen wanted to create her own business after having worked in the restaurant industry in Paris, Saint-Dizier and even a little in Meuse.
This young mother has designed a tea room that suits her, with decor largely inspired by her country of origin.
Tunisia is evident in the products served: mint and jasmine tea, crème fraîche, Turkish coffee, fresh juices. Not to mention the Tunisian pastries homemade by this young mother.
"It's a bit of a change for the French," says Mariem El Khazen, who has decided to open every day except Wednesday.
