Automotive industry: manufacturers obtain a change in anti-pollution rules

On Thursday, May 8, the European Parliament voted to relax anti-pollution rules, allowing manufacturers that sell too few electric vehicles to avoid hefty fines. This is the first time since the Dieselgate scandal in 2015 that manufacturers have secured a shift in environmental rules.
