Already lined up for the road race, of which he is the defending champion, Tadej Pogačar is expected to participate in the time trial at the World Championships in Rwanda at the end of September.

Slovenian Tadej Pogačar, winner of the Tour de France this summer, is looking to add another title to his list of achievements. According to information from La Gazzetta dello Sport , picked up by L'Équipe , the rider is expected to compete in the time trial at the World Championships, which will take place in Rwanda from September 21 to 28, 2025.

The race is scheduled for September 21, just one week before the road race, in which the UAE Team Emirates rider will attempt to defend the title he won last year in Zurich. The road race will be 267.5 km long, including a passage over Mount Kigali (5.9 km at 6.9%), and an elevation gain of 5,475 meters.

The time trial course, 40.6 kilometers long with several climbs and 680 meters of elevation gain, is rather favorable to the Slovenian. If his participation is confirmed, Tadej Pogačar will face two-time defending champion Remco Evenepoel, who is playing for Belgium.
