The Dance Biennale parade was celebrated this Sunday, September 7, on Rue de la République in Lyon. A look back at this momentous occasion in pictures.

It's official: the Dance Biennale has begun. The unmissable parade took place this Sunday afternoon, September 7, on Rue de la République, between the 1st and 2nd arrondissements.

This year, the theme chosen was "Recycled Dances," performed by nine groups. The dances themselves were conceived and directed by choreographer Diego Dantas, director of the Rio de Janeiro Choreographic Center.

The party continued in Place Bellecour after a little over an hour of wandering. Lyon Capitale invites you to relive the best moments in pictures.
