Humor is having its festival in Toulon from May 6: come and discover the "Funny Octopuses" of this third edition

The Drôles de Poulpes comedy festival returns for a third edition to Toulon. This year, six evenings are scheduled, with a first event, as an opening, on May 6th at the heart of the Toulon establishment O'Boulodrome. A lineup of four comedians is scheduled to take to the stage. With a twist. "It will be a central stage, with the audience all around, like a boxing ring, which will be set up in the middle of the boules courts," enthuses festival founder Olivier Stéphan. We will therefore find "The Man with the Guitar" first, Angie Degrolard – "it's quite crazy, she's inspired by what Pierre Repp did in the art of babbling," explains the programmer –, Christophe Basclo in a short format and, as master of ceremonies, Olivier Stephan himself.

100% feminine and exciting evening

After this opening escapade, return to the Porte d'Italie theater for the rest of the program. On Wednesday, it will be Antoine Lucciardi, known as one of the standard-bearers of the improv troupe Les Zindé. Here, he plays in another style, much more written, with his show Unpeucalypse 57 . Like last year, the festival is repeating its "Girl Power" evening with an all-female lineup. "There are two Marseillaises. Isabelle Guiot with her new show, it's pretty crazy. We also find Janice en flammes who is difficult to categorize. There will also be Floyd, a young girl from the region and finally Cab Cab. She too has a kind of madness, she is in the tradition of what Julien Santini can do, but perhaps worse!" , continues the organizer.

We're sticking with the feminine side for Friday with Aude Alisque's show, Gravité . "She has a very 'uninhibited' side. For her, nothing is serious, she has a lot of self-deprecation." Saturday evening is dedicated to the regional Christophe Basclo. The latter is a hit with his show #Daron where he draws on his daily life as the father of a 16-year-old teenager to have fun with the clash of generations. A family show. Finally, Sunday is the time for improv, with a first event dedicated to the youngest from 3 p.m., before Catch d'impro at 7 p.m. There's something for everyone. FM

Funny Octopuses , from May 6 to 11. Opening night at the O'boulodrome at 7:30 p.m. (admission 16 euros with a drink). Then from Wednesday to Sunday at the Théâtre de la Porte d'Italie (price 20 euros). Tickets on sale at www.billetweb.fr or www.billetreduc.com. Or on site on the day of the performances.
