Festi'Villars welcomes the Youk Trio in concert on August 15

Youk Trio is a French music group composed of three musicians: Claire Boulanger (clarinet), Enzo Pegliasco (guitar/vocals), and Pierre Heitz (clarinet/guitar). The group, formed in 2015, blends traditional tunes from various regions of France with original compositions. The trio's name, Youk , is a reference to the unique feeling their music provides, described as a "revelation of intense, velvety sensations, coated in a smooth texture." With two clarinets and two guitars, their music creates a rich and dynamic acoustic experience.

Musical traditions, with folk tunes

Youk Trio's repertoire draws on French musical traditions, featuring folk tunes from various regions while also incorporating modern and original compositions. Their musical style is often described as world music, with a touch of bal-folk and mazurka.

The band has captivated its audience with their unique sound and infectious energy. They perform in venues and festivals across France, offering their audiences an unforgettable musical experience. Picnics are available in the "garden" area before, during, and after the concert. Dancing is possible on the grass, but the floor is rustic.
