France is once again heading into the unknown. After a general policy statement at 3 p.m. this Monday, notably on his 2026 budget guidelines, Prime Minister François Bayrou will seek the confidence of the National Assembly, which is unlikely to grant him one . The leaders of the parliamentary groups will respond to him before the vote expected later this evening.
