Feurs (42): street harassment escalates, woman stabbed in the city center

According to Le Progrès , a violent altercation took place on Friday, September 5, around 11:30 p.m. in the city center of Feurs (Loire) . A woman, who was accosted in a sexist manner while she was walking, saw her companion react. The individual who started the harassment then went out into the street, provoking a violent argument. While trying to intervene, the woman was stabbed in the stomach.

She was taken into care by the Smur (Sur), but suffered minor injuries. The alleged perpetrator of the stabbing was arrested by the municipal police and then the gendarmes, and taken into custody. The prosecutor's office has not released any further information.
