CHRONICLE. - In Fins de la vie (Éditions du Cerf), a remarkable collective work, edited by Professor Emmanuel Hirsch, thinkers and experts take stock of the triple medical, legal, and anthropological rupture that the creation of a "right to die" assured by the State would constitute.

This year, Robert Badinter will enter the Pantheon . This "moral conscience" , as Emmanuel Macron called it, will join the great men, notably for his fight against the death penalty, the abolition of which he enabled in our country. The year of Robert Badinter's pantheonization will perhaps be that of the legalization of euthanasia , currently under debate in the National Assembly.
