Call for testimonies. Have you ever falsified documents to rent a home?

Finding a rental property is a real challenge for many people. Increasingly high rents, increasingly stringent guarantee requirements, files scrutinized by agencies and landlords... In this always busy period for rental searches , candidates still looking for their future home sometimes feel that a simple detail is enough to dismiss their application. Some therefore falsify their application to increase their chances by inflating their income, providing a fake employment contract or altering a pay slip, even though this practice is illegal. According to a survey conducted by Flashs for Zelok, one in four tenants (26%) has already provided false information to obtain accommodation (*).
Have you ever falsified a document to get a place to live? How did you do it? What did you change? What prompted you to take this step? Did this technique work? Did the landlord or agency notice?
