A garage caught fire this Sunday morning in Toulon

The fire, of as yet undetermined origin, broke out around 6 a.m. this Sunday morning at the Pomponiana residence located on Impasse Bruno in Toulon. Var firefighters responded to the fire, which completely engulfed a garage measuring approximately 80 m².

The firefighters' swift action stopped the spread and preserved the adjacent single-family home. However, reconnaissance operations had to continue to prevent any risk of recurrence.

In total, the emergency response force deployed on site included two fire-fighting vehicles, an aerial ladder, an ambulance and a command vehicle, representing around twenty firefighters involved.
