The most affordable beaches in Spain for summer vacations

With summer already upon us, there's nothing more appealing than spending time on the beach , enjoying Spain's spectacular coastal landscapes. But with so many options to choose from, it can be very difficult to decide on a beach destination for our summer vacation.
To help you choose, Omio has published its annual ranking of Europe's most affordable beaches for the summer. The study takes into account factors such as visitor reviews, average temperatures, the cost of hotel stays, and current prices for typical beach staples , such as sunbed rentals, ice cream, local beer, or iced coffee.
Two Spanish beaches lead the rankingIn the top spot on the list of the most affordable European beaches is a Spanish beach: Teresitas Beach on the island of Tenerife . With a pleasant water temperature of 23°C and 21°C in the shade, it offers everything vacationers need to take a dip and escape the heat. A last-minute double room costs around €128 per night , and drinks like beer and iced coffee are priced at €4.50.

We're not far behind in second place: Las Canteras Beach in Gran Canaria . The price of a night in a hotel is around €130, while renting a sun lounger costs €3. Beer, meanwhile, costs an average of €4, ice cream €3.20, and iced coffee €4.20.
Rounding out the list is Kleopatra Beach in Alanya, Turkey , where a scoop of ice cream costs just €2. Overnight stays are around €92, with even cheaper options in the popular resort town of Side, where rooms cost around €77.

The European ranking continues with Yahsi Beach (Bodrum, Turkey) in fourth place, followed by a Spanish beach in fifth place: La Concha Beach in San Sebastián . Here, a last-minute hotel stay costs around €166 per night, a sun lounger €3, an ice cream €2.60, a beer €4.20, and an iced coffee €4.30.
The list goes on with Sansona Beach ( Elba, Italy ), Long Beach (Ulcinj, Montenegro ), Warnemünde Beach (Warnemünde, Germany), Falésia Beach (Algarve, Portugal) and Grande de Porto Covo Beach (Porto Covo, Portugal).
