The beach is difficult to access, and although there is a nearby parking lot, during the summer season there is a shuttle bus service that also serves to control crowding. Cantarriján beach is just a 20-minute drive from the town of Almuñécar. To get there from the town, simply take the N-340, where the first parking lot on the beach is located. If you prefer, you can take a winding road full of curves from there to reach the second parking lot, which is right on the beach.
