JetSmart announces new routes from Bogotá to Montería and Barranquilla in 2026
JetSmart Airlines announced the opening of two new domestic routes that will directly connect Bogotá with Montería and Barranquilla, as part of its expansion strategy in Colombia. With these additions, the company continues to consolidate its presence in the country after more than a year and a half of operations.

The Bogotá–Barranquilla route will begin operating on February 3, 2026, and the Bogotá–Montería route will begin operating on March 3, 2026.
In total, the airline will offer 21 weekly flights and 3,906 seats per leg between both routes, with fares starting at 90,000 Colombian pesos, taxes and fees included.
“With our service from Bogotá to Montería and Barranquilla, we aim to provide more Colombians with easy and affordable access to the Colombian Caribbean. We know that for our passengers, it's not just about traveling, but also about being closer to their families, discovering new experiences, or advancing their projects, ” said Mario García, JetSmart's Country Manager in Colombia.
The company indicated that these routes will add 2,604 weekly seats per trip on the Bogotá–Barranquilla connection and 1,302 on the Bogotá–Montería connection. They will also complement the company's existing operations from Medellín to both cities, strengthening connectivity with the Colombian Caribbean.

With these new frequencies, the company now has 19 domestic routes to 10 destinations and 6 international routes , including the recently inaugurated connections from Medellín and Cali to Punta Cana, in the Dominican Republic.
As part of this announcement, the airline also launched a new edition of its Smart Sale campaign, a promotion with exclusive fares for a limited time .

For international flights, fares will be available from October 13th to 20th at 10:00 a.m., with prices starting at $607,700 each way, valid for travel between November 1st, 2025, and May 28th, 2026. For domestic routes, fares will start at $67,000, available from October 14th to 20th, for flights from November 3rd, 2025, to March 28th, 2026.
