Stage 14 of La Vuelta a España today: route, profile, schedule, and where to watch online and on TV

The Vuelta a España completes its 80th edition in 2025. It's no ordinary year for the third Grand Tour of the cycling calendar, as the organizers pay tribute to its history with the start in Italy , thus completing its tour of the main cycling nations after France, the Netherlands, and Belgium.
Starting in Piedmont, the home of Angelo Conterno, the first of six Italian winners of La Vuelta, the peloton also passed through France, Andorra, and Spain in an edition that features the novelty that the southernmost point will be the capital, Madrid , and only for the final stage.
It's also worth noting that Valladolid will host the only individual time trial of the 2025 Vuelta a España on September 11th , a key stage just three days from the end of the competition, with a 27.2-kilometer, entirely urban route. Vingegaard is the favorite to wear the red jersey in Madrid on September 14th, a jersey that João Almeida will try to snatch from him .
The Vuelta a España is relentless, and this Saturday sees another high-mountain stage. A 135-kilometer route , much shorter than the one that culminated in L'Angliru on Friday , but with three mountain passes, the last two particularly demanding.
First up is San Lorenzo , with a 10.1-kilometer climb at 8.5% . Then comes La Farrapona , where the finish line is located. Another first-category climb with an average gradient (5.9%) that's not as steep as the previous one, although the final six kilometers can be tricky for riders ( ramps of up to 13% )... and perhaps decisive for the overall classification.

Stage 14 of La Vuelta a España 2025 will start around 1:30 p.m. , with the organizers estimating its finish time at around 5:13 p.m. RTVE will broadcast all stages free-to-air across its various channels, as well as on RTVE Play , its streaming and on-demand content platform. This Saturday's stage will be broadcast first on Teledeporte until 3:55 p.m., at which point the signal switches to La 1 .
The alternative to the public broadcaster is Eurosport , which broadcasts all stages of La Vuelta on its first channel (Eurosport 1), as well as, of course, on its streaming platform HBO Max . And remember, you can also follow all the news about La Vuelta on abc.es.
