Since June 18, Andalucía Somos Fútbol has become more than just a platform. It has been registered by the Regional Government in the Registry of Associations of Andalusia . Thus, as its president, Juan Carlos Crespo , explains, "we have officially become the opposition to the current leaders of the Royal Andalusian Football Federation (RFAF), which defends Andalusian football."
As reported in this newspaper, Andalucía Somos Fútbol denounced the presence in the RFAF of Pedro González Segura , the former head of legal services at the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) during Luis Rubiales's tenure. As a result, "the RFAF is nervous about us and, according to what we're told from within, they've tried every means possible to prevent us from being registered with the Andalusian Regional Government," Crespo explains.
Pedro González Segura, also from Granada and a close associate of Rubiales , was arrested by the UCO (National University of Granada) and is being investigated in the same judicial process in which the RFEF itself has filed a private prosecution against him. "However, despite this background, he has been relocated within the RFAF, where, according to various reports, he would hold a senior management position, possibly as Director General , with broad decision-making and executive authority," Crespo comments.

From this position, González Segura is reportedly promoting projects such as Universo 2025, which moves more than 5 million euros and is structured through various companies. Furthermore, as we also reported in this newspaper with images confirming this, he is credited with attending key meetings, "such as the most recent one, in which, despite not appearing in the official photograph, he clearly appears in other images of the event," says the president of Andalucía Somos Fútbol.
But the matter doesn't end there. It is rumored that Luis Rubiales is preparing his return to power once his suspension ends, which has a year and a half remaining . And he is doing so with the support of Pedro González Segura, rescued by the RFAF president, Pedro Curtido, who was himself hired by Rubiales himself as a RFEF coach to serve as coordinator of subsidies for Andalusian First Division RFEF clubs .

At Andalucía Somos Fútbol, they believe the strategy is to use the RFAF's structure as a gateway to the RFEF . Although these are just rumors for now, they have even reached the RFEF, where last Monday its president, Galician Rafael Louzán , held one of the most peaceful meetings in living memory.
And to Rubiales's shadow movements in Andalusia, we must add the predisposition of other barons . Starting with Salvador Gomar of the Valencian Community , who not in vain competed at the polls with the aforementioned Louzán, and who was already supported by those of the Balearic Islands, Asturias , and Castilla-La Mancha . To them should be added the removed Rafael del Amo and José Ángel Peláez, presidents of the territorial elections of Navarre and Cantabria , respectively.
Returning to Andalusia, the association chaired by Juan Carlos Crespo also denounced that, following the last RFAF assembly, "Pedro Curtido is costing Andalusian football more than €12,500 a month , with €4,870 going directly into the president's pocket." "That is, a salary that, between payroll and taxes, exceeds €150,000 a year," the Andalucía Somos Fútbol Association emphasized.

By the way, at the recent RFEF General Assembly , it was voted in favor of the federation's headquarters returning to the Ciudad del Fútbol in Las Rozas . In December 2021, it was moved to Mateo Inurria Street in Madrid. To a property that, moreover, the RFEF has now decided to put up for sale. It was said to be "a logistical move in view of the 2030 World Cup bid." But the truth is, as this newspaper reported , Luis Rubiales was seeking to escape the Majadahonda courts , where he ended up...
