Real Madrid's financial statements report record revenue and specify the cost of the Bernabéu renovation at 1.347 billion euros.

In the last decade, despite the pandemic, Real Madrid has managed to double its operating income. From €578 million in the 2014/15 season to €1.185 billion this year, a historic record for the club. This is stated in its financial report for the season, which also reveals that the investment in the renovation of the Santiago Bernabéu has been €1.347 billion.
Supposedly, when Florentino Pérez presented the project in 2018, the initial figure proposed was €575 million. Subsequently, the incorporation of new elements such as the retractable roof and the hypogeum, as well as the impact on materials caused by the war in Ukraine, led to increases in construction.
Thus, eight years later, the final investment, adding the 184 million euros spent this season, has risen to 1.347 billion euros. The latest work is focused on reducing the noise impact of potential events at the Bernabéu and on some of the catering operations. The club is confident that, following this work, it will be able to resume concerts at its stadium in the coming months.
What's already confirmed is the arrival of the NFL in Spain with the game between the Miami Dolphins and the Washington Commanders, which will be played at the Santiago Bernabéu on November 16.
In other economic parameters, the club's EBITDA rose to €243 million and its net worth rose to €598 million. This data helps reduce the impact of personnel expenses on revenue, which accounted for 43% in the last season.
