Radamel Falcao García is very close to returning to the pitch with Millonarios . The 'Tiger' is already working with the group and only needs to regain the footballing rhythm he's lost during these two months of absence, but some in the Blues' fan base have been heavily criticizing him for his injuries.
The 39-year-old striker suffered a grade 2 injury to his right rectus femoris muscle on March 8 during training before the game against Junior and was admitted to the club's infirmary, causing much concern among fans.

Falcao, since arriving at Millonarios in the second half of 2024, has already suffered three injuries and missed more than 20 matches after being absent for over 100 days, something that fans dislike and that is aimed at the striker.
Yepes faces the bullets and defends Falcao.
Amid criticism, Mario Alberto Yepes, former captain of the Colombian national team, made a staunch defense of his former teammate and reminded Millonarios fans that the 'Tigre' is making a great effort to play in Colombia .
"Falcao is a symbol not only of football but of Colombian society. He's my friend. I think he scored two goals in that match that qualified us for the World Cup , which he couldn't play in due to football-related issues like injuries," he said at a promotional event.

"Whatever they say and what they say, people have very short memories, and Falcao is making the effort to come play for Millonarios for him. He wanted to be here, to play, and it was his father's dream. I feel like people are a bit distracted from the situation," added the former Cali defender.
Yepes also advised Radamel to continue fulfilling his dream at the Embajador and to always seek happiness wherever he goes.
"From my side, I want to tell him that we're always paying attention to what he does and send him all the support in the world. If he wants to stay at Millonarios , let him do it; if he wants to play for Cali, let him do it. He's welcome at any Colombian soccer team," he stated.
