Jhon Durán, brilliant and decisive for Fenerbahçe: watch the goal that sealed his team's comeback in the derby against Besiktas
Jhon Jáder Durán scored his first official goal in the Turkish Super League with Fenerbahçe, and not just any goal: he scored the winning goal for his team in the derby against Besiktas.
The Colombian's goal, in the 83rd minute, sealed the comeback of Domenico Tedesco's team, who were losing 2-0 in just 23 minutes and managed to turn the score around.
This was Jhon Durán's goal in the derby against Besiktas Durán pressured the defense's exit and stole a ball that fell to him to hit it in the air and put the ball in the other post, in the goal defended by goalkeeper Ersin Destanoğlu.
The Colombian started as a substitute in a match that did not start well for Fenerbahçe, who conceded two goals very early: El Bilal Touré opened the scoring in the 5th minute and Emirhan Torçu increased the lead in the 22nd minute.

However, there were two actions that began to change the history of the match: one, the expulsion of a Besiktas player, Orcun, at 26, for a studs-up tackle on the Mexican Edson Álvarez, and then, an attack from the home stands on the Spaniard Marco Asensio when he was going to take a corner kick, which forced the game to be stopped for a few moments.
From that penalty kick came Fenerbahçe's consolation goal, scored by Ismail Yuksek at 32, and then Asensio equalized the score before the end of the first half, at 45+3.
Durán entered the field in the 66th minute, replacing Youssef El-Nesyri, and ended up scoring the winning goal. A couple of minutes later, he was fouled in the penalty area, but the referee didn't award a penalty.

It was the Colombian's first goal in the Turkish league, to which he arrived on loan in the middle of this year, from Al Nassr of Saudi Arabia, and the second he has scored with the Fenerbahçe shirt: he already had one in the preliminary phase of the Champions League, against Feyenoord.
Durán has been unable to maintain consistency due to injury and was out of action for almost two months. He reappeared on October 23rd, in a Europa League match against Stuttgart.
