Spain has won the Copa del Sol European tournament for the second consecutive time, marking the seventh time they have achieved this feat. The title was secured after defeating Slovakia 2-0 in an event held in Valencia.
Among the members of the Spanish U-14 team were Stefan Shangichev from the Canary Islands, Jaime Alcaraz , and Pepe García Ruiz from Seville, who were coached by Nico Pérez Durán, the team's captain. Carlos 's brother didn't play in either of the two matches in the final, and it was his teammates García and Shangichev who earned the two points to take home the second Copa del Sol.
