Attention, visitors to the 2026 World Cup will pay more for parking than for tickets: another FIFA business deal

Parking costs for attending the 2026 World Cup matches have reached exorbitant prices and It could exceed the price of tickets in the United States, according to data revealed by the official website that FIFA enabled for users to reserve a space for their vehicle in advance.

Parking fees range from $75 to $175 at the five U.S. stadiums—Boston, Dallas, Kansas City, Miami, and Philadelphia—where these tickets are now available.

However, the prices for the other six World Cup venues in the United States, including the final to be played in New York , as well as the costs for the stadiums in Canada and Mexico, co-organizers of the tournament, are still to be revealed.

The most expensive seats so far, on sale for $175, correspond to the semi-final game to be played in Dallas on July 14, and the game for third place at the Hard Rock in Miami on July 18.

Meanwhile, the minimum price for fans to leave their vehicle near the stadium during a group stage match is $75.

In Philadelphia, that amount rises to $115 for the first round. These figures exceed the $60 that the cheapest ticket (Category 4) for a first-round game can cost.

Parking costs increase with each round, and driving to the round of 16 in Philadelphia or the quarterfinals in Boston costs $145, not including the cost of the match ticket. Tickets for the tournament, which will be held in Canada, the United States, and Mexico from June 11 to July 19, 2026, range from $60 to $6,730.

The first tickets went on sale on September 10th through an initial lottery open only to Visa customers, followed by a second lottery at the end of October. The group stage draw will take place on December 5th in Washington, D.C. Argentina will be defending the title they won in Qatar in 2022. The final will be held on July 19th at MetLife Stadium in New York/New Jersey.
